Bird Photography and Me

I accidentally stumbleupon this hobby. One of my friends was selling his Nikon D70s and he said I could pay in five EMIs. I just bought it on a whim. Before I knew what was happening, I took the plunge into bird photography. Now, I use Nikon D90 with Sigma 100-300 F4, a 1.4x teleconverter for bird photography. I use a Manfrotto tripod with a ball-head. I am still in the ‘serious amateur’ category but I think i have some neat shots in my portfolio.

    I agree..you have some very neat shots in your bag! Hope you enjoy your Bannerghatta birding. I’ll be around, too, often in the area, after August.
