I accidentally stumbled upon this hobby. One of my friends was selling his Nikon D70s and he said I could pay in five EMIs. I just bought it on a whim. Before I knew what was happening, I took the plunge into bird photography. Now, I use Nikon D90 with Sigma 100-300 F4, a 1.4x teleconverter Canon 550 D with Canon 100-400 IS for bird photography.

  1. I agree..you have some very neat shots in your bag! Hope you enjoy your Bannerghatta birding. I’ll be around, too, often in the area, after August.

  2. Nice post. If you would like to know all bird types available in Karnataka, please read Tejaswi’s novels on birds. 100s of birds are caught on his lense. He is an all time classic writer in Kannada.
