Reached Denver last evening. This morning was walking from hotel to work.
\nCheck this out for a pedestrian signal:
\nHand sign in red = Stop
\nHand sign in red blinking = Walk but rush!
\nand in between the two above you have a ‘running man’ sign that flashes approximately for a second. And for a bunch of Indians who are utterly clueless about how to cross the perilous highway, with its rushing cars and trucks a Green hand could have saved a lot of time.
\nThe signal is pedestrian-operated and I don’t know if during peak-hours there is no green and later on the green comes on… but this definitely sucks. You can’t change a traffic light man! Not like that!
