dear suman,

I am very keen on becoming a content manager, and please guide, me on if I should have some articles published on my name, or if I should have passed some qualifying tests, should I also start a blogs site of my own, I have 8 years of wrok exp, 2 yrs in advertising,corporate communications, and as a technical writer, and I have been teaching for the MBA students for more than 5and half years.

I want to be in the sr/mid level posts apparently.

I have been working in client servicing department, and later joined the corporate communications-cum- business development dept, of an It company,a nd later on did a full ERP course, and went on to be a lecturer in the PG, capacity, right now I am still doing the same, job, but I am stuck with it, can I change myself into content management, and do I have to exihibit all of my writing talents, and is there any scope to move into that direction, pls guide.
Do I need to improve upon anything with this kind of a background---

and what are the type of salaries in this field , generally speaking what is the range over here, In MNCs of India.
